Hello. I am an N/Me in GW, but since I only have access to Factions at the moment, I was wondering if you guys could make me a build with N/Me Factions only skills.

Well, yeah, but I would like a build that is not an MM. Maybe like a hexer or something? Also, making it more designated for PvE would be nice too.

Rigor Mortis can be can be replaced with something else. Shadow of Fear can be replaced with Reckless Haste. The two PvE skills can be replaced with Enfeebling Blood and Defile Enchantments.

Hm...Thanks for the build, but since I don't have Ebon Vanguard I will have to rely on my hencies/heroes to do the physical damage for me.

I'm thinking this will affect the efficiency of the build, right?

Also, is there a skill that deals damage to foes depending on how many hexes that are on them in Factions?

MoP + Barbs works well with henchies. And I don't think there's a skill that'll deal more damage if they have more hexes on them.

[enfeebling blood][barbs][mark of pain][icy veins][weaken armor][faintheartedness][defile enchantments][resurrection signet]

Best I can come up with.

Run some melee hench, although bad, they're practically all you have for damage.

Barbs, Weaken Armour and Mark of Pain amplifies this damage. Enfeebling Blood and Faintheartedness serve as strong shutdown skills. Icy Veins deals direct damage, and extra damage when that target is dead. Defile Enchantments is a nice nuke skill. Resurrection Signet for... ressing.

Quite a strong build if you ask me.

Skills like [[Power Spike], or interruption skills in general can be powerful utility against enemy casters.

Icy Veins is weak. Faintheartedness is weak. Rest of that bar is ok.

If you use that build in normal mode against mid-level enemies (up to around level 20 or possibly 22-24) it will all work fine. Against tougher opposition Icy Veins is a very bad elite. I would actually consider Weaken Knees as an elite.

Could add Arcane Echo to cut the recharge of Mark of Pain, it's inelegant but Mark is a money skill.

You really sure about Weaken Knees? Either an enemy moves not at all, or an enemy moves briefly.

It does slightly more than Weaken Knees, and doesn't suck (as much) end-game like Icy Veins.

Really, though, most available elites in Factions are really quite crap - switch to /A as soon as possible for [[assassin's promise] on that juicy [[Mark of Pain]

Wail is decent. However timing is very important when using that skill and I do feel it's slightly niche. However, sure, it's pretty decent in certain spots.

I would definitely prefer /A with Assassin's Promise on the build I posted but he did request a build for a N/Me so...

When I first saw Weaken Knees, noob that I was, I thought "wtf is that skill, does it even deserve to be elite". But it isn't bad at all. Low cost, fast recharge, 1s cast, long duration hex (though of course it ends on trigger). Basically with some intelligence it's a pretty foolproof KD on a 5 second recharge. It also synergizes well with physical attackers. Certain foes don't move a lot, true. Give them a dose of Mark of Pain. They'll move.

I would also like to flag for Order of Apostasy, it can be very, very useful in certain areas. My normal elite when running N/W with Save Yourselves is Weaken Knees or Order of Apostasy.

Browsing through Mesmer elites in Factions I don't really see any that would be very useful. Maybe elite Echo, heh.

Wail FTW. You can make level 30 ele bosses do 10 damage with spells. Why not?

Weaken Knees isn't that good in NM since stuff doesn't really move much.

I still wouldn't consider it. I would rather just go meleemancer and bring Bull's Strike to be honest.
(Or for HM, Churning Earth by switching to /E!)

It does have it's uses, but even Soul Bind + *Spammable hex* seems better.
Enemies *do* attack right through stuff like Empathy etc. amirite?
